Company Description

We’re representing a fast-growing legal AI company building software for in-house legal teams. Its platform helps lawyers draft, review, and analyze legal documents quickly while maintaining the accuracy and context required for real legal work.

More than 1,800 companies use the platform, including over 150 public companies and 25+ unicorns, with customers spanning major technology and consumer brands. The product carries an NPS of approximately 70–75, recently earned a top SaaS customer-satisfaction award, and the business is currently tracking ahead of its sales plan.

The company raised a $60M Series B in November 2025 at a $555M valuation and is currently building toward its next stage of growth. The engineering organization remains intentionally small—fewer than 20 engineers today—and is expected to roughly double this year.

What You Will Do

• Join the Growth Engineering team and own product work across the company’s sign-up, onboarding, and conversion funnels.
• Ship user-facing growth features that improve activation, conversion, and overall funnel performance.
• Design and run structured A/B tests and experimentation programs end-to-end.
• Form clear hypotheses, ship variants, measure results, and iterate based on observed user behavior.
• Build systems for engaging prospective users across channels such as Reddit, LinkedIn, and legal communities.
• Build analytics dashboards that track user behavior and key growth metrics.
• Develop automation tooling for personalized outreach at scale.
• Implement tracking and attribution systems that help Growth, Sales, and Marketing understand what is driving results.
• Build internal tools that improve the efficiency of sales and marketing operations.
• Work across frontend and full-stack systems rather than operating solely as an analytics or lifecycle-marketing partner.
• Collaborate closely with a small engineering organization and ship directly to a large, high-value B2B user base.

Ideal Background

• Strong full-stack or frontend engineering experience.
• Background building user-facing software at a consumer, prosumer, or similarly product-focused company.
• At least one meaningful role as a core team member at an early-stage startup.
• Demonstrated hands-on growth engineering experience, not just general product engineering.
• Resume should show specific experiments, including:
  • The hypothesis being tested
  • The variant or product change shipped
  • The metric or business outcome that moved
• Experience shipping user-facing products at meaningful scale.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Comfortable using product data to determine what should be built next.
• Able to operate with significant autonomy and connect technical work directly to growth outcomes.
• Strong product intuition and willingness to iterate quickly based on experiment results.

Generic mentions of “A/B testing” without specific experiments and measured outcomes are unlikely to meet the bar for this role.

Preferred

• Previous B2B SaaS growth engineering experience.
• Familiarity with lifecycle and growth platforms such as HubSpot, Customer.io, or Klaviyo.
• Experience working with LLM or AI products.
• Side projects or evidence of independently building and shipping software outside of assigned work.
• SEO implementation experience.
• Experience building growth systems across acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention funnels.
• Background at an early-stage company where engineers had meaningful ownership over product and experimentation strategy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $230,000–$300,000.
• Equity included.
• Location: Distributed across the United States and Canada.
• Employees located within roughly 50 miles of the company’s San Mateo, CA or Provo, UT hubs work in office Tuesday through Thursday.
• Up to approximately 10% travel for engineering coworking sessions and offsites in the San Francisco Bay Area and Provo.
