Description

Who we are

In the past, to be a successful restaurateur, you simply had to have a passion for food and a passion for people - but to succeed as a digital restaurateur you also need to have a passion for technology. We believe in the joy of serving others, and that's why we created Otter – to help restaurateurs succeed in online food delivery. Restaurants around the world, both large and small, including Chick-fil-A, Ben & Jerry’s, KFC, and Eataly trust our software to power their delivery business. We increase sales, reduce order issues, and decrease delivery headaches.

What you’ll do

You aren’t just managing a queue; you are the connective tissue that keeps our go-to-market engine running. Sitting at the heart of our Service Delivery team, you will support five key cross-functional pillars to ensure the entire customer journey is seamless from start to finish.

  • Be the Salesforce Guru: You’ll be the go-to for our Sales and CX teams. Whether it’s fixing a broken flow, enabling new features, or handling daily admin tasks, you’ll ensure Salesforce works for the team, not against them.
  • Own day-to-day Salesforce administration: users, profiles, permissions, page layouts, validation rules, and automation. Build and maintain scalable Flows that support evolving GTM motions.
  • Administer and optimize the broader GTM tech stack: Yesware and outreach tooling, LeanData routing, enrichment platforms, and the integrations between them.
  • Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems (data warehouse, marketing platforms, finance tools, product telemetry).
  • Build the Infrastructure: This isn’t just maintenance—it’s evolution. You will evaluate, build, and document the high-level processes that define how our internal teams interact.
  • Bridge the Gaps: You’ll proactively "connect the dots" between departments. If you see a process that’s misaligned or a handoff that’s dropping the ball, you’ll be the one to build the bridge and bring people together.
  • Master the Context-Switch: You thrive in variety. One hour you’re deep in technical Salesforce tweaks; the next, you’re collaborating with leadership to map out a more efficient project lifecycle.

What we’re looking for

  • Deep Salesforce expertise. You have served as a primary Sales Cloud admin and know how to build for scale, not just configure for today.
  • Integration experience is required. You have connected Salesforce to other systems and understand the trade-offs between native, middleware (Workato, Zapier, MuleSoft), and custom approaches.
  • Working knowledge of SQL sufficient to pull data, validate your builds, and audit your own work.
  • The Salesforce Foundation: You have 2–3 years of Salesforce Administration experience. You know your way around the back end of a CRM and understand how to make administrative changes that stick.
  • The "Builder" DNA: You don’t wait for a manual. You are proactive, you see blockers before they happen, and you enjoy creating order out of chaos.
  • Analytical & Agile: You can switch gears quickly without losing your focus. You’re naturally curious about how things work and why they break.
  • A Collaborative Spirit: You’re a people person who can translate technical needs into human solutions. You’re comfortable working across different teams to keep everyone aligned.
  • Sales-Adjacent Experience: You’ve spent time around sales teams and understand the urgency and flow of a high-growth environment.
