Description
Overview
Executes appropriate patient care by assisting the physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Supports team members before, during, and following procedures to assure optimal patient care. ## Registry may define responsibilities that are specific to each registry but does not limit activities under direct physician supervision.
Qualifications
Education required: High School diploma/GED. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
License, certification and/or registration: Current Alabama or Multistate nursing license
Experience: Cardiac catheterization for diagnostic and interventional procedures, cardiovascular patient care, radiographic special procedures and/or hemodynamic monitoring experience accepted
Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to adapt to a fast paced dynamic work environment related to changing daily work schedules, working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex cardiac disease and maintains absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures. Ability to learn techniques quickly and accurately
