What you’ll do:

The Project Leader I will work in the development of low complexity OEM projects and technical solutions with the right cost, quality and time to market within organization of Latin America Fabric Care R&D. The Project Leader role includes bringing technical specification based on consumer needs and combine that with the industrial design requirements into a cost-efficient product easy to manufacture with the required quality level. To do this Project Leader needs to cooperate closely with international suppliers, Quality, Laboratory, Sourcing, Design, Marketing, After Sales, Supply Chain and other project functions.

In detail, you will:

• Plan and follow up developing activities. (time and resource plans, product cost, action plans, system description etc.)

• Report progress, risks and deviation from project plan.

• Assure that technically feasible, well-verified and defined solutions are chosen for the product.

• Assure that appropriate activities are performed according to EPM gate.

• Lead cross-functional teams through influence and project management, without direct people management responsibility.

• Create technical documentation (labels artworks, user manual, product specification) and ensure it is updated and available for other functions.

• Evaluate test results and implement actions to fulfill specifications.

• Approve technical documentation and archive them correctly in PLM system.

• Support Marketing, Design, supplier, Laboratory, Sourcing, Quality and other functions involved in the project with product know-how.

• Prepare, consolidate and present project Check Points material to Steering Committee.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Who you are:

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production or related area)

• Solid product development experience, mainly mechanical design

• Able to balance proactive planning with quick response to emerging issues, you work efficiently

and flexibly to deliver results

• Knowledge of product development processes, product lifecycle management, and project management methodologies

• Understanding of engineering principles, product validation processes, manufacturing methods, and quality systems

• Advanced English is a must

• Spanish is a plus
