Overview

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Data & Systems Analyst to join its Financial Services team located in Baltimore, MD!

The Senior Financial Data & Systems Analyst will build and own the architecture, templates, automations, and models within our FP&A platform supporting core planning functions, such as budgeting, forecasting, cash flows, valuations, projections, as well as financial and investor-based reporting.

As a strategic finance professional, the Senior Financial Data & Systems Analyst strengthens the foundation of our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function through robust financial data management, modeling, and process automation. This role is responsible for optimizing the Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform and the underlying financial data architecture to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting integrity, and decision-making while improving operational efficiency.

Partnering closely with the Financial Services team, the Senior Financial Data & Systems Analyst supports core FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, variance analysis, long-range planning, and investor reporting for Brightview's  growing portfolio.

Working from our Home Office in a hybrid office setting, the ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with technical expertise to develop scalable solutions that enable data-driven business decisions and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.
  • Build and own the architecture, templates, automations, and models within our FP&A platform supporting core planning functions, such as budgeting, forecasting, cash flows, valuations, projections, as well as financial and investor-based reporting.
  • Integrate and further expand financial and operational source data into the cubic data model (GL, UKG, Concur, occupancy, development, amortization schedules, loan details, investor performance KPIs, etc.), in partnership with the Business Intelligence team.
  • Develop and maintain the master financial data model that serves as the Financial Service organization’s connected data ecosystem.
  • Provide agility to the Financial Services function to link new financial data sources and reshape the financial data model as planning needs evolve.
  • Build advanced models, automations, and reporting templates that support department level reporting, workforce planning, as well as scenario based and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Partner with FP&A analysts to translate analytical needs into scalable, automated solutions.
  • Establish data validation, governance, policies, and documentation standards in partnership with leadership.
  • Expand the Financial Services Group technical data capability so finance-specific workflows and processes scale with the anticipated growth and increasing complexities of the organization
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$105,000 - $120,000/yr

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, Power Query, and VBA/macros; strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience designing and maintaining relational and dimensional data models.
  • Experience developing solutions within an enterprise FP&A platform (Vena preferred; Anaplan, Planful, Pigment, or similar platforms acceptable). Experience implementing or administering an FP&A platform is strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating data across multiple source systems to develop scalable, reliable, and well-governed reporting solutions.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently interpret complex data, develop models, draw meaningful conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations.
