Senior Manager, Medicare Part D Program & Initiative Management

Position Summary
Serves as the central execution and coordination lead for complex, cross-functional initiatives within the Medicare Part D product and strategy organization. Establishes clear visibility into what initiatives exist, who owns them, how they are progressing, and what dependencies must be managed to deliver results on time. Translates strategic priorities into structured plans, timelines, progress tracking, and executive-ready summaries that help leadership assess status, risks, and next steps.

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including project, program, or initiative management in healthcare, insurance, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Medicare Part D, including regulatory, operational, and product considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and translate strategic priorities into operational plans with measurable outcomes.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage dependencies, sequencing, and critical paths.
• Proven experience creating clear summaries, dashboards, timelines, roadmaps, and visuals for senior leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to frame communications for executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Experience supporting Medicare Part D product, strategy, or operations teams preferred.
• Familiarity with portfolio management, roadmap development, enterprise-level initiative tracking, or formal project management training such as PMP or Agile preferred.
   
•  We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you will be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy.  Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.
  Aetna office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
