Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Badge Administration in Sanford, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents, guests, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the residential community by verifying resident, guest, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access-related information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
