Job Title: Warehouse- Shop Laborer – Build a Career with Us
Location: Gilbert Shop
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour DOE
Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Shop Manager

R2 is hiring a motivated, dependable individual to join our Gilbert shop team. The ideal candidate will bring 1-2 years of warehousing experience in a mechanical or equipment-related industry, along with 1-2 years or more of hands-on mechanical equipment repair experience, including diesel trucks and/or heavy equipment service.
This role combines warehouse, inventory, equipment-support, and hands-on maintenance responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is willing to support the full needs of the shop and wants to build a long-term future with R2.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage, organize, and maintain inventory of parts, tools, trailers, and equipment
- Pull orders and prepare parts, tools, and equipment for field or shop use
- Check parts and equipment in and out of inventory and maintain accurate records
- Load and prepare parts, tools, and equipment for shipping or transport
- Operate a forklift safely for material handling, loading, unloading, and inventory movement
- Pressure wash, clean, and detail company vehicles and equipment
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with diesel truck and heavy equipment service and repair
- Change oil, perform basic preventive maintenance, and support general equipment upkeep
- Operate a company pickup for local parts pickup and delivery as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and warehouse environment
- Support daily shop, warehouse, and fleet operations as needed
- 1-2 years of warehousing experience in a mechanical, fleet, automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or similar industry
- 1-2 years or more of hands-on mechanical equipment repair experience, including diesel and/or heavy equipment service
- Experience with parts, tools, inventory control, order pulling, receiving, or shipping preferred
- Ability and willingness to operate a forklift safely; prior forklift experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Comfortable operating a company pickup for local parts pickup and delivery
- Reliable, dependable, and able to show up on time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform both warehouse and equipment-maintenance duties
- Willing to learn, take direction, and support changing shop priorities
- Positive attitude, team mindset, and flexibility to work varying hours when needed
- Build broader hands-on experience across warehouse, fleet, diesel, and heavy equipment operations
- Work directly with equipment, vehicles, parts, tools, and inventory
- Develop practical experience supporting both shop and field operations
