Environmental Services Aide

$16.50–$17.75/hour, based on experience PRN. Choose the shift that fits your life: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM. The Lutheran Home, a faith-based skilled nursing community in Arlington Heights, is hiring an Environmental Services Aide to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents.

What You'll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the skilled nursing community
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other assigned spaces
• Operate floor care equipment as part of regular cleaning duties
• Follow cleaning and infection control protocols
• Support a safe, tidy environment for residents, families, and staff
• Help residents feel cared for through the quality of the space you maintain

What You'll Need

Required:

• Specialized floor-care experience (e.g., stripping, waxing, and buffing floors with commercial floor-care equipment)

Preferred:

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and detail-oriented

Pay
$16.50–$17.75/hour, based on experience

Schedule
PRN / As needed. Day or evening shifts available: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM.
