Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Purpose: The CS Order Entry LATAM role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant order processing across the LATAM region for DePuy Synthes. This position supports the end-to-end order-to-cash process, working closely with customers, sales teams, supply chain, and logistics partners. The role is impactful because it directly influences customer satisfaction, order accuracy, and on-time delivery of medical devices that support patient care across the region. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Accurately enter, validate, and process customer sales orders in enterprise systems in accordance with established procedures and service-level agreements. 
  • Review orders for completeness, pricing, product availability, and compliance with commercial and regulatory requirements. 
  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, finance, and customer service teams to resolve order issues, backorders, returns, and delivery inquiries. 
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers to provide order status updates and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Maintain accurate order documentation and ensure data integrity within order management systems. 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring order issues and opportunities to streamline processes. 
  • Adhere to DePuy Synthes quality, compliance, and data privacy standards in all order entry activities. 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. 
  • Preferred: Additional coursework or certification in supply chain, customer service, or operations. 
  • 0–2 years of experience in customer service, order management, supply chain, or a related operational role. 
  • Experience entering and managing orders in ERP or order management systems. 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of transactional work accurately. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

Preferred: 

  • Prior experience supporting LATAM markets or regional order processing. 
  • Familiarity with medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry environments. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, logistics, and finance teams. 
  • Knowledge of order-to-cash or supply chain processes. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 

Other: 

  • Languages: Fluent in Spanish; working proficiency in Portuguese is required.
  • English is a plus. 
  • Travel: Limited; primarily office-based role.
