Job Description
As a Unarmed Security Officer Graveyard Train Station Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and personnel while responding to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government facilities, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and maintain professional interactions with individuals entering or leaving the location.
- Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
