What you'll do...

Role summary:
The role is a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager leading sourcing initiatives within our Professional Services categories. This includes procurement for security guards, workers’ claims, contingent and temporary labor, consulting, contact center, BPO, legal, data analytics, pricing and translation services. The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience and a strong understanding of Ariba and/or Coupa (CSO & CLMA) systems.
About the team:
The Non-Tech Professional Services Sourcing team plays a vital role in advancing Walmart’s purpose by enabling Every Day Low Cost (EDLC) across the company. The team supports essential services such as security, labor, consulting, legal, data analytics, pricing, and translation. Collaborating closely with business partners, the team develops sourcing strategies that optimize spend, strengthen supplier relationships, manage risks, and deliver sustainable value. By ensuring access to the right capabilities at the right value, the team drives operational efficiencies that support EDLC and Every Day Low Price (EDLP), ultimately helping customers and members save money and live better.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals and category needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Analyze financial and business data to identify savings opportunities and optimize category performance.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance using key metrics and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Identify risks in supply chains and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate procurement insights and recommendations effectively to influence decision-making.

What you'll bring:
  • Stakeholder Influence: Lead strategic sourcing across Professional Services; analyze projects/RFx responses, develop award scenarios, identify outliers, and generate negotiation insights.
  • Spend Analysis: Perform advanced Excel/Power BI analytics and present actionable insights.
  • Strategy: Develop category strategies and procurement pipelines aligned with strategic priorities.
  • RFPs: Develop bid processes and configure/release RFx events in Ariba/Coupa CSO.
  • Negotiation: Develop scenarios and lead negotiations to secure favorable supplier terms.
  • Contracting: Lead supplier contract negotiations with stakeholders and Legal.
  • S2P/P2P: Manage PR-to-PO requests, ensuring timely execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
