Shifts: 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday, with Saturdays & Sundays as needed, Additional compensation is provided for the 6th and 7th workdays.

Scheduled hours: General hours: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM/end of shift (flex as needed)

SUMMARY : This position is responsible for overseeing the production and delivery of high-quality feed to Tyson growers while maintaining the lowest possible operating costs and ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include maintaining a daily drug inventory for FDA compliance and managing personnel within the Housekeeping and Preventative Maintenance departments. The role also coordinates production schedules and inventory levels, leads monthly safety meetings to address issues within Mill and Trucking operations, supports quarterly budget planning, keeps upper management informed of operational performance and needs, and performs additional duties as required to support business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of relevant feed mill operations experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). May require knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System.

Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.

Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.

Internal disqualifiers are the following:

• Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8 point policy (on application date)

This position is slated for candidates who are currently working at this facility. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations will then be reviewed for consideration.
