Description
About us
Thesis is building the AI-powered care team platform for infinitely scalable clinical capacity. We radically increase access and improve quality of care by combining AI agents with clinical experts to take on high-impact clinical operations and care management activities for healthcare organizations.
We’re based in NYC, are growing rapidly, and are backed by $60 million in funding from Oak HC/FT, CRV, Black Opal Ventures, and experienced C-level healthtech angel investors.
About the Role
The Clinical Strategist will work with customers across the full partnership journey from initial conversations to post go-live. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and support our sales and deployment teams in discussions with customers. Key activities will include solution design, partnership strategy, custom content creation, and leading discussions with senior customer leadership (including C-level executives at large providers and payers). You’ll also help guide the company’s clinical product development by providing both market and clinical perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Convey Thesis’s AI platform to the market. Serve as the external voice of our AI, helping customers understand its capabilities and clinical value
- Lead consultative sales cycles with provider organizations, uncovering priorities, and shaping new solutions to serve customer needs.
- Build and nurture executive relationships (C‑suite, service line leaders, clinical, IT) to foster trust, remove roadblocks, and champion adoption.
- Drive post‑go‑live success and expansion, orchestrating stakeholders to deliver on time, measuring outcomes, and upselling additional use cases.
- Feed customer insight back into our product, working with engineering and clinical teams to prioritize features and new use cases.
- Own product scope for new partnerships. Partner with sales to translate client needs into a defined, flexible product configuration.
- Add in point on new markets
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) required
- 3+ total years of post-training professional experience, with 2+ years in client-facing roles such as consulting, customer success, implementation, or strategy.
- Prior experience working at early startups or high growth business units at healthtech companies.
- Successful track record managing complex deployments and executive stakeholders in clinical environments.
- Bring deep, hands-on experience engaging clinical and executive stakeholders at client organizations to shape how our product is positioned in the market
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders and present data-driven insights in a compelling manner.
- Bring MD-level clinical credibility to the product, deepening the company's clinical expertise as offerings become more medically sophisticated.
- Based in NYC, and excited about a hybrid work environment where we’re in-office ~3 days per week.
Target compensation for this role is $225–$300k, plus bonus, equity and a generous benefits package.
