If you’re motivated, and eager to break into the gaming industry, this position is for you. Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is looking for a Chip Runner to assist with the operations of the poker room by assisting guests with the redemption and sale of chips.

 

A vital part of the functionality of the poker room, this position will act as a mobile cashier so be prepared to be on the move and on your feet. Surrounded by great leadership and training opportunities, in a department that constantly promotes from within, this role is an excellent building block for your career at Live!

 

This is an entry level position.

 

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Providing exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor.
• Redemption and sale of cash and chips to guests.
• Assisting guest with seating and chip distribution.
• Filling dealer trays.
• Assisting dealers and supervisors in the starting, combining, and breaking of games.
• Complying with company policies and procedures, internal controls, and Title 31.
• Ensuring the safety and security of internal and external guests by notifying management of any suspicious or unusual activities.
• Attending training and meetings when required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of work area, including the collection of chip trays, and returning them to designated areas.

Qualifications

• Handle cash and chip transactions.
• Physically push chip cart around the poker room.
• Trainable

• Strong communication skills.

A Few Must Haves

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
