About the Role & Team

Disney’s UK Theatrical Distribution team is responsible for maximising the commercial performance of an outstanding portfolio of films from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures and more.

As a Theatrical Sales Executive, you will support the UK & Ireland Sales Team in delivering successful theatrical releases across Disney’s film slate. Working closely with cinema exhibitors and colleagues across Marketing, Publicity, Technical Operations and Finance, you’ll play a key role in supporting sales activity, maintaining relationships, coordinating projects and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day distribution operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, commercially focused and collaborative environment. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of theatrical distribution while helping bring some of the world’s most-loved stories to audiences across the UK and Ireland.

If selected for this role, you will report to the Sales Manager, UK & Ireland Theatrical Sales.

This is a fixed-term contract, expected to run until approximately February 2027. The role will be based in our London Hammersmith office four days a week, with either Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Sales Team in delivering theatrical distribution objectives across Disney’s portfolio of theatrical releases.

  • Assist in maintaining exhibitor communications, ensuring customers are kept informed of upcoming theatrical release plans.

  • Support the management of exhibitor relationships through regular communication and timely follow-up on requests and enquiries.

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of anniversary re-releases, special projects and other ad hoc initiatives.

  • Monitor release performance against agreed plans and provide reporting and administrative support to the wider Sales Team.

  • Prepare, maintain and distribute sales reports and performance data, helping identify trends and potential opportunities.

  • Enter, process and maintain booking contracts and associated records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of theatrical distribution systems, tools and processes.

  • Build strong and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Publicity, Technical Operations and Finance teams to support theatrical release activity.

  • Support the delivery of internal and external screenings and events, including logistical and administrative coordination.

  • Provide general departmental administration and project support as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in an administrative, coordinator or sales support role.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving and supporting wider team objectives.

  • Interest in film, media or the entertainment industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the film distribution, media or wider entertainment industry.

  • Familiarity with sales reporting, data analysis or client-facing support activities.

  • Understanding of theatrical exhibition or distribution processes.
