Senior Architectural Designer

STV is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Designer who will support a critical Buildings project in the NY Metro area.   The successful candidate must have experience with large public projects in an urban environment and possess a minimum of 8 years’ experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide support on Architectural Design work from programming and concept design through construction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaboration with various disciplines and consultants.
• Support in Day-to-Day coordination with architectural project team and other design disciplines.
• Elevate topics as needed to Design Manager(s).
• Prepare architectural drawings, utilizes a strong knowledge of building technology; and/or supervises their execution for all phases of a project.
• Participating in, or leading project-specific marketing/proposal preparation and presentations.

Required Skills:

• A Professional Degree in Architecture is required with 15 + years of experience.
• Proficiency with BIM / Revit, Blue Beam and Microsoft Office Suite are required. 
• OpenBuildings, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, is a plus.
• Excellent design, presentation skills, both verbal and visual is required.
• The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for problem solving, and an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firm focus on client needs.

Compensation Range:

$149,671.54 - $171,053.19
