Description
The role includes coordinating supplier sustainability assessments, customer ESG requests, and external sustainability ratings and questionnaires, as well as supporting the monitoring of human rights-related KPIs and disclosures. In addition, you will contribute to projects and initiatives related to responsible sourcing, working conditions, grievance mechanisms, and supply chain transparency, while supporting the continuous improvement of internal ESG processes and monitoring relevant regulatory developments.

Your tasks
Support the Sustainability Manager in implementing the company’s sustainability strategy, with a focus on human rights and procurement-related topics
Coordinate and manage supplier sustainability assessments and follow-ups
Contribute to the enhancement of internal guidance documents and policy papers
Support local entities in the continuous improvement of supply chain sustainability and human rights practices
Monitor, track, and report ESG KPIs with a focus on human rights and supply chain sustainability
Benchmark performance against peers, frameworks, and best practices, and participate in peer exchange to identify improvement opportunities
Promote sustainability awareness across the organization through training, workshops, and communication initiatives
Contribute to sustainability disclosures and reporting in line with regulatory requirements
Act as a business partner to internal stakeholders by supporting human rights due diligence processes and implementation of regulatory requirements
Handle and respond to customer ESG requests, sustainability questionnaires, and external ESG ratings and assessments
Monitor relevant human rights regulations and reporting requirements
Your profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability Management, Business Administration (with a focus on sustainability), Supply Chain Management, Human Rights, Social Sciences, Law, or a related field
First professional experience in human rights, responsible sourcing, or sustainability consulting within industrial and international business environments
Good understanding of human rights due diligence processes and related regulations and frameworks (e.g. DDTrO, UNGPs, OECD RBC Guidance, LkSG, CSDDD)
Experience with supplier sustainability assessments and ESG rating platforms (e.g. EcoVadis, CDP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, translate complex topics into concise and structured content, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent written and spoken English skills, German would be a big plus
