Business Controller, Regional Business Line IN, MEA, LATAM

We are seeking a Business Controller in Motion High Power’s Motors and Generators Regional Business Line IN, MEA, LATAM. You will be acting as a business partner to the Region Business Line Manager influencing strategic decisions, driving financial performance, and helping to shape the future of the Business Line. You will support decision-making by monitoring, analyzing and interpreting financial data, evaluating business scenarios, and recommending the most suitable actions. This role is contributing to the Motion High Power’s Motors and Generators division based in Vadodara, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Owning and managing the financial performance of the Regional Business Line, focusing on India (market and factory) as well as Middle-East & Africa and Latin Americas markets.

• Supporting the Region Manager in making effective business decisions by analyzing and interpreting financial data, evaluating alternative business scenarios, and recommending optimal solutions.

• Translating business strategy into business plans and monitoring of measurable targets. Promoting transparent and efficient controlling structures and financial systems.

• Leading monthly closing, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Driving cost efficiency, cash flow, productivity improvements and capital efficiency, providing insights and analysis to support operational decision-making. Ensure compliance with the company’s governance model and internal controls within the local business line.

• Leading and developing the local finance team, including competence development, tools, systems, and processes. Leading, guiding and facilitating best-practice sharing to ensure consistency of controlling practices across the organization.

• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role
 

· 15+ experience of business controlling roles in a global environment. Strong business acumen and excellent knowledge of finance processes and tools, including SAP.

· Experience in manufacturing operations and related financial processes is a strong advantage.

· Experience in setting up managing Local Sales Units and related structures is a strong advantage. Proven track record of execution and delivering results in an international setting.

· Good collaboration and communications skills. Experience in leading a finance team and demonstrated leadership capabilities.

· Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.

· Recognized as a strong team player with excellent collaboration and business partnering skills.

· India Chartered Accountant with relevant experience.
