D&T Product Expert – Global Financial Services P2P

Role purpose

The Digital & Technology (D&T) Product expert  – Global Financial Services P2P supports the D&T Business Partner in shaping and delivering technology solutions for Haleon’s global Procure-to-Pay function, including upstream procurement integration, invoice processing, payments, supplier enablement, exception management and related operational reporting.

The role works closely with the Business Partner, Global Financial Services, Procurement, ERP and delivery teams to translate P2P priorities into practical technology requirements, delivery plans and continuous improvement outcomes across global markets and service delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Strategy

• Support the D&T Business Partner as a key technology contact for Global Financial Services P2P and Procurement stakeholders.
• Contribute to the P2P digital and systems roadmap by capturing business needs, assessing process pain points and helping shape technology options aligned to Finance, Procurement and D&T priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve P2P efficiency, automation, supplier experience, compliance and operational reporting through digital, data and AI enabled solutions.

Delivery & Change

• Support prioritisation and delivery planning for P2P technology initiatives across purchase order processing, invoice capture, workflow automation, supplier portals, payments, master data touchpoints and operational reporting.
• Coordinate with D&T teams, ERP, Procurement, Finance Operations and external partners to support solution design, delivery, testing, change management and adoption.
• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies and benefits, supporting improvements in cycle times, manual effort reduction, exception handling and process compliance.

Technology, Risk & Control

• Support the operation of secure, compliant and resilient P2P systems in line with regulatory, data privacy, payment security and internal control standards.
• Work with vendors and service providers supporting P2P platforms, assisting with performance tracking, issue resolution, service quality and roadmap discussions for relevant non-ERP components.
• Support risk, control and operational resilience activities across the P2P technology landscape, including documentation, evidence gathering and coordination across non-ERP components and integration points.
• Assist in maintaining, testing and improving cyber incident recovery and business continuity plans for P2P technology solutions, ensuring coordination with relevant D&T, business and supplier teams.

Experience & Capabilities

• Experience in finance technology or business analysis, with good knowledge of global P2P processes such as procurement integration, accounts payable, invoice automation, supplier enablement, payments, exceptions management and ERP functional processes.
• Good understanding of controls, segregation of duties, audit requirements, payment compliance and operational risk in a global shared services environment.
• Working knowledge of finance and procurement platforms such as SAP ECC / S/4HANA, Coupa, Ariba, invoice automation tools, workflow solutions and reporting platforms.
