Description
## What you’ll do:
The EHS Coordinator provides operational and compliance support to the EHS function by managing governance, reporting, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, enabling EHS Business Partners to focus on strategic risk management, business partnering, and site engagement activities.
Governance & Compliance
Maintain EHS policies, procedures, standards, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate periodic reviews and updates of EHS management system documentation.
Support compliance monitoring activities and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
Maintain EHS records, registers, permits, and compliance documentation.
Reporting & Data Management
Assist with the Preparation and distribution EHS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
Monitor key EHS indicators and track progress against business objectives.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of EHS data within relevant systems and databases.
Support incident, hazard, and corrective action tracking and reporting.
Systems & Administration
Provide administrative support for EHS programs, processes, and initiatives.
Coordinate EHS audits, inspections, and compliance activities, including documentation and follow-up actions.
Maintain EHS training records and learning and competency matrices.
Assist with the administration and continuous improvement of EHS management systems.
Risk & Incident Support
Support the investigation process by coordinating documentation, data collection
Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely completion.
Assist with risk assessments and the maintenance of risk registers.
Support emergency preparedness and business continuity documentation and activities.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a key point of contact for EHS-related administrative and operational enquiries.
Coordinate communication of EHS updates, initiatives, and compliance requirements across the business.
Support EHS Business Partners with site engagement activities, meetings, and action management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote EHS awareness and consistency across locations.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline EHS processes, reporting, and compliance activities.
Support the implementation of EHS improvement initiatives and best practices.
Contribute to the development of tools, templates, and resources that enhance EHS capability and efficiency and initiatives
Assist in building a proactive safety culture through effective coordination and support of EHS programs.
Participate in safety initiatives, wellbeing programs and APAC safety requirements"
## Qualifications:
- Level 4 EHS Certificate or relevant industry experience
- 2 -4 years of relevant EHS/WHS coordination or compliance experience
- Knowledge of EHS/WHS legislation and compliance requirements ANZ
- Understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident management processes.
- Experience with EHS management systems, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of audit, inspection, and corrective action management processes.
- Competent written and verbal communication skills
