The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is the nation's largest regional education agency and supports 80 public school districts and numerous other agencies in ensuring educational excellence for the region's two million preschool and school-age children.

LACOE's Head Start and Early Learning (HSEL) Division is seeking two temporary Education Specialists to join a team dedicated to guiding individuals entering and advancing in the early childhood education field. This role balances student advocacy and confidence-building with tracking, compliance, and milestone enforcement across four distinct workforce pathways to develop future early childhood educators. 



Required Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree is required. A bachelor's degree with major coursework in child development, early education, education, or educational psychology is preferred.  

Additional Requirements: Individuals must either possess a valid driver’s license with access to private transportation or demonstrate the ability to reliably travel between job sites using alternative means.
