The SLCM-N Deputy Program Manager will support the program manager in overall responsibility for profit & loss, growth, technical execution, staffing and programmatic execution for a team of more than 150 professionals that develop and produce classified, advanced capability weapon systems.  This position has the responsibility to deliver on the financial commitments to the business and mission commitments to our customers for programs totaling approximately $100M/year along with personnel responsibilities including oversight of hiring, project staffing, career development, and performance evaluation/accountability.

 

The D/PM will collaborate with the PM, government stakeholders, program leadership, financial professionals, and cross-functional teams to support mission success.

 

Primary Responsibilities

·         Responsible for effectively and efficiently planning, organizing, directing and controlling the administrative and technical requirement of the program that impact Leidos’ ability to meet the Government’s requirements.

·         Support the allocation and management of program resources, including staffing, facilities, budgets, recruitment and training (direct and indirect) on the contract.

·         Review and approve Estimate to Complete, Contract Data Requirements (CDR) and other financial reports based on contractual requirements.

·         Review risk and risk mitigation activities and report status to the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR).

·         Prepare program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government COTR.  Communicate issues and solutions to the Government COTR.

·         Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor’s contracts staff.

·         Review all financial and technical reports before release to the Government.

·         Ensure cross-discipline integration within the contract to meet Government needs.

·         Review and approve financial performance, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Estimates to Complete (ETC), funds and labor reporting, and review/approval of all required financial deliverables.

·         Support and Lead EVM based program management

·         Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) to the customer.

Basic Qualifications

• Require a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years or prior relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
• Working knowledge of hybrid unclassified/classified program management and advanced capability systems.
• Prior experience leading complex teams and peer contractors in large endeavors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including demonstrated ability to execute technical projects while gaining the confidence of customers, technical staff, managers, and peers.
• Demonstrated ability in the areas leadership, P&L, strategic teaming management, government contracting.

• Earned Value Management on DoW contracts as CAM or similar role

• Must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Secret Clearance. Top Secret desired.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Prior experience with direct financial management responsibility
• Engineering or production prior experience / knowledge in the areas of avionics, software development, GNC.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
