Join Weavers Way as a Full-time Bakery & Grocery Clerk!

We are looking for an energetic, community-oriented and experienced individual to work in our Bakery and Grocery department for our Ambler location. Customer service is our top priority, so you must be comfortable engaging with shoppers and providing helpful, friendly assistance. You’ll be expected to quickly learn the products we carry so you can confidently guide customers, answer questions, and make informed recommendations.

This is a Full-Time, non-exempt, hourly position working an estimated 30-34 hours per week. Weekend Availability required. If you have experience working in a team setting and a passion for great customer service, then we want to hear from you!

What You'll do

• Receive product deliveries, ensuring order and invoice accuracy
• Assist in the Barkey when needed.
• Stock, rotate, merchandise, and face product according to department procedure.
• Maintain back-stock areas according to department standards
• Maintain inventory of perishable and non-perishable products as assigned
• Maintains a safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations
• Understands and utilizes safe lifting procedures and proper step stools
• Perform other duties as assigned by department manager

Requirements

• Commitment to the mission and goals of Weavers Way Co-op
• Retail ordering experience preferred
• Prior retail Barkey experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be, or become upon hiring a member in good standing of Weavers Way Co-op
