Description
The HR Partner, Specialized Care serves as a trusted subject‑matter expert for complex and escalated associate and leader matters. This role is responsible for providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and workforce actions while ensuring alignment with local regulations and Flowserve policies. Reporting to the Manager, Specialized Care, this role operates at the intersection of service excellence, risk mitigation, and business enablement—partnering closely with leaders to drive fair, compliant, and consistent outcomes across supported countries.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as an escalation point and subject‑matter expert for complex associate and leader inquiries, ensuring timely, compliant, and high‑quality resolution.
Interpret, apply, and clearly communicate HR policies, processes, and procedures in a way that balances consistency, risk management in strategic partnership with the business
Provide trusted coaching and counsel to leaders on performance management, compensation, career development, and workforce actions aligned to Flowserve’s business strategy and objectives.
Guide leaders through sensitive and high‑risk situations, including employee relations matters, conflict resolution, investigations, involuntary terminations, and reductions in force.
Assess complex situations by asking critical, diagnostic questions and exercising sound judgment to recommend appropriate courses of action.
Support talent development efforts by identifying capability gaps, advising on development solutions, and making targeted recommendations.
Maintain strong working knowledge of Flowserve’s global organizational structure and People Excellence to effectively navigate complexity and resolve issues across regions.
Partner with People Center leadership to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve the service delivery model for designated countries.
Oversee and manage escalated transactions and workstream execution in NEO CASE system tracking related to:
Involuntary terminations and reduction‑in‑force support
Performance management, including coaching, discipline, and PIPs
Employee and labor relations matters and investigations
Internal movement and workforce changes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
6+ years of experience in HR Shared Services, HR Business Partnering, or HR Service Delivery within a complex organization.
Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, involuntary terminations, RIF support, performance management, and investigations.
Proven ability to deliver exceptional associate and leader support with high levels of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and empathy.
Strong consultative and influencing skills, with the ability to guide outcomes without direct authority.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities, particularly in ambiguous or high‑risk situations.
Demonstrated integrity and sound judgment, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Preferred Experience
Ability to interpret and apply relevant employment laws and regulations across geographies.
Experience supporting global or multi‑country populations.
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid role: 4 days in office / 1 day remote.

The pay range for this role is 114,636.86 - 171,955.29 USD Annual.
