Compensation Range
Hourly: $30.55 - $40.85 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to be responsible for curriculum planning and management, ensuring material maintains a high caliber of excellence and adheres to learning best practices and industry standards. This job is also accountable for driving agreed program impact and effectiveness.
Essential Functions
Design and develop training content, both classroom and virtual, to ensure a smooth learning journey and all content is up to date
Design learning activities, assignments, and assessments; write scripts for video and audio content, records training demos as needed
Edit and develop online learning, training modules, and eLearning/self-guided courses
Develop instructor manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools such as infographics
Analyze, update, and refine existing content in partnership with training team
Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop or refine course content
Support project work and overall strategy for training and development as well as support facilitation as needed for projects and training coverage
Develop and design strategic learning curriculum
Development, publication, and maintenance of curriculum roadmaps across all content types and modalities
Management of the library of published coursework (repository and course catalog)
Guidance given to learning developers, deliverers, and project coordinators in evaluation, development, and approval of new content proposals
Collaboration with other teams to develop tooling and workflows for the implementation of curriculum plans across all stages of the content creation pipeline
Management of strategic curriculum projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Working knowledge of instructions design tools such as Articulate Rise360, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, or Captivate with ability to create effective visual aids
Knowledge of training methodology and technology, Learning Management Systems (Workday) and SharePoint and knowledge base systems
Strong organizational, communication, relationship management skills to meet deadlines
Ability to write/edit training materials that are clear, concise, and grammatically correct
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create polished, engaging presentations.
Willingness to embrace AI tools to enhance design and effectiveness
Strong knowledge of instructions design tools such as Articulate Rise360, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, and Captivate
Knowledge of adult learning theory and learning design
A proven track record in technical education with knowledge of instructional design principles, techniques and approaches
Demonstrated ability to rapidly research, analyze and comprehend the necessary topical areas at a strategic level
Ability to mentor and guide team members
Ability to ask the needed big-picture questions that lead to process and curriculum improvements
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years’ experience in instructional design and development, preferably within a corporate environment
Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week
