Deputy Head of FAL Coordination (f/m)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Deputy Head of FAL Coordination (f/m) to join our A350 Coordination Plants & Suppliers department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing cross-functional coordination between group plants, external suppliers, and the A350 Final Assembly Line. As part of the A350 FAL Coordination team, you will be involved in operational support, Outstanding Work (OSW) management, and continuous improvement initiatives aiming at securing on-time and high-quality aircraft deliveries during the production ramp-up.

Your challenges:

• Provide daily operational support to the team, driving SQCDP objectives, managing resources and skills, and animating cross-functional workshops.
• Lead the Ramp-Up Work Package by coordinating supplier detachment needs on-site (facilities, workspaces, industrial assets).
• Manage priority Outstanding Work (OSW) topics across internal/external stakeholders and oversee Quality Gate milestones.
• Drive Lean/AOS continuous improvement projects, including digital/AI project integration and reporting tools optimization.
• Facilitate best practice sharing and communication between Coordination Units and Production Groups.

Your boarding pass:

• Background in Engineering, Aeronautics, or Supply Chain, with proven operational field experience or shopfloor emergency management in a FAL environment.
• Strong technical expertise in Airbus industrial ecosystem, FAL operations, and A350 manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Project Management methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and Lean / Airbus Operating System (AOS) frameworks.
• Proven track record in managing complex multi-stakeholder interfaces (plants, external suppliers, Quality, Production).
• Full professional proficiency in both French and English (C1 level minimum).
