Wage: $80,000 - $85,000
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager who can step into the role with a strong understanding of account management, client strategy, sales, and business development. This individual will take ownership of key client relationships, drive account growth and retention, and provide strategic leadership to internal teams.
- Own and manage key client accounts, serving as a senior point of contact and trusted business partner.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop and execute account strategies focused on client retention, revenue growth, profitability, and long-term partnership development.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts, upsell additional services, and generate organic revenue growth.
- Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, objectives, challenges, budgets, and KPIs.
- Translate client needs into clear internal strategies, action plans, and deliverables.
- Take full ownership of customer projects, ensuring they are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget.
- Monitor account performance and use data, reporting, and KPIs to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure programs are properly planned, resourced, communicated, and executed.
- Prepare and deliver strong client recaps and recommendations that demonstrate business value and support future opportunities.
- Take initiative to improve processes, account performance, service quality, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure call reports, client documentation, paperwork, and system information are accurate and maintained in a timely manner.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
An experienced account management professional who can operate independently, anticipate client needs, identify opportunities, and confidently manage complex accounts from strategy through execution.
- Possesses a university or college degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Has 10+ years of progressive experience in account management, client services, sales, business development, or a related field.
- Has a proven track record of independently managing and growing significant client accounts.
- Demonstrates a strong history of client retention, revenue growth, upselling, and relationship development.
- Has experience working directly with senior-level clients and decision-makers.
- Is confident leading client meetings, presentations, business reviews, and strategic discussions.
- Demonstrates strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, targets, and account profitability.
- Can quickly understand a client’s business and translate their objectives into actionable strategies.
- Possesses strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple complex accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Has strong leadership skills and experience mentoring, coaching, or providing direction to junior team members.
- Is proficient with Word, Excel, databases, and email.
