Candidate Qualities

Seeking dependable and reliable students with attention to detail and an interest in working in Fitness Center. Must be able to follow instructions. Ability to work with and direct their peers on occasion.

Job Outline

The Fitness and Recreation Assistant is employed to assist with opening, closing and daily operations of the Fitness Center, Open Gym and Intramural Programming.

Specific Job Duties are as Follows:

• Assist in making sure all policies are followed by all parties.
• Answer participant and general use questions.
• Manage access of participants in fitness and recreation facilities.
• Maintain check in and participant data.
• Clean and Inspect fitness center/recreation equipment.
• Maintain a welcoming and safe environment for all participants,

Pay/Hours

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour based on experience, skills performance. Hours will range between 8 – 15 hours per week.
