About the role: 

We are looking for an experienced RTR Accountant to join our Record to Report team supporting the Swedish market. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, delivering high-quality accounting services, and contributing to a smooth month-end closing process. 

You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization, support process improvements, and help maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. 

You will report to the RTR Team Leader. 

What you'll do: 

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items. 

  • Manage fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset reporting. 

  • Prepare and post month-end accruals, provisions, and journal entries. 

  • Execute period-end closing activities in line with established deadlines and quality standards. 

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. 

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 

  • Prepare financial reports and support analysis of accounting transactions and balances. 

  • Maintain and update process documentation, including process maps and desktop procedures. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners. 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of best practices. 

  • Ensure compliance with Electrolux policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and GFSS guidelines. 

  • Participate in migration, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within the RTR function. 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within Record to Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Shared Services environments. 

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes. 

  • Experience in balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and fixed assets accounting. 

  • Good understanding of the business environment, internal controls, and accounting compliance requirements. 

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. 

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 

  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel. 

  • Experience working with SAP or another ERP system. 

  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken. 

  • Experience working in a multicultural and international environment will be an advantage. 

  • Full-time availability. 

  • Openness to learning, taking on new challenges, and driving continuous improvement. 

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, customer-focused mindset, and a collaborative approach to work.
