Performance Measurement Team Leader
Location: Kraków
Hybrid model: Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old
About the team:
The Performance Measurement team is responsible for calculating, analyzing, and reporting investment performance for a wide range of investment funds and client portfolios. We work with large datasets and complex financial information to deliver accurate reporting to our clients. Our team combines strong analytical skills with deep investment industry knowledge. In our team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day delivery of Performance Measurement services and ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and client service.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in performance measurement, attribution, and investment reporting, providing guidance on complex technical matters.
- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of professionals while fostering a collaborative and accountable working environment.
- Analyzing large volumes of financial and performance data to support reporting, issue resolution, and informed decision-making.
- Driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and system-related initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading teams within Performance Measurement, Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, or a related investment servicing function.
- Strong expertise in performance measurement, attribution methodologies, benchmarks, and investment performance reporting.
- Excellent numerical, mathematical, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends, exceptions, and root causes.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, performing detailed analysis, reconciliations, and data quality reviews.
- Strong understanding of investment products, fund structures, capital markets, and the asset management industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives, system implementations, process improvements, and business transformation projects while partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of operational processes across the investment lifecycle, including Performance Measurement, Fund Accounting, Investment Accounting, and client reporting.
- Solid knowledge of traditional, derivative, and alternative investment instruments and how they impact performance calculation and reporting.
- University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; CFA, CIPM, or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
