Grounds & Maintenance Technician with Security Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds and Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and security of our facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine landscaping, lawn care, and grounds keeping tasks to ensure the property remains attractive and well-maintained

- Conduct general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency

- Monitor and maintain the security of the premises, including patrolling the property and inspecting security systems

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and security incidents, documenting actions taken

- Assist with setting up and dismantling event spaces or special functions as needed

- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in grounds keeping, maintenance, or a related field

- Basic knowledge of security procedures and systems

- Ability to operate landscaping and maintenance equipment safely

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
