The opportunity
The Salesforce Administrator reports directly to the CRM Platform Manager. You will ensure the reliable operation of the Customer Relationship Management systems, coordinate upgrades and enhancements, oversees the availability and performance of the production environment across the university, and the pre-production environments. You will help improve our performance through technology consulting and management of solution design, system enhancements, and bug fixes.

What You'll Do:
- Install and test Salesforce patch upgrades and configuration change to provide a stable and reliable operational environment.
- Manage data integrity and cleanliness within Salesforce, perform data imports/exports, maintain data security, and enforce data quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations within Salesforce.
- Ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure
- Maintain necessary backup/restore services.
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support departmental staff and administration with the identification, evaluation, selection, support, and maintenance of systems solutions that work with or as a part of Salesforce.
- Provide ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the Salesforce platform.
- Set up accounts and user permissions for assigned Salesforce users.
- Thoroughly review release notes for vendor upgrades to identify any risks and opportunities.
- Maintain all lower environments ensuring they are in sync with Production, periodically refreshed, secured, encrypted, and the data is masked.
- Be on-call to manage any of the systems associated with Salesforce and including Salesforce.
- Configure and customize Salesforce to meet our requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.
- Design and implement workflow automation, approval processes, and escalations to enhance business processes and efficiency.
- Monitor, recommend, and implement technical process changes to support department priorities and operational drivers.
- Improve administrative solutions to reduce cost-intensive maintenance and support activities.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate Salesforce with other applications and systems as necessary.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical insights to help guide data-based decision-making across the organization with SNHU's reporting guidelines and best practices.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Flosum, or Azure DevOps.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to provide recommendations for improvements and new capabilities.
- Deploy Sprint, Lean, off-cycle, and Hotfix releases to production and all lower environments.
- Maintain the code repository and the merging of new code into the repository.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
- Experience with data management, including data import/export, data cleansing, and data quality best practices.
- Experience partnering with matrixed based environments, working directly with SCRUM / Kanban teams and project-based needs.
- Experience with relational databases and data structures.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $64,283.00 - $102,872.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $71,033.00 - $96,103.00.Exceptional benefits (because you’re exceptional)
