As a Design Verification Engineer at Micron, you will collaborate with innovative build and verification teams to develop next-generation DRAM and emerging memory technologies. You will be involved in the verification of sophisticated, high-density memory products featuring advanced functionality, ultra-high-speed interfaces, low-power architectures, and power management technologies. Working closely with global engineering teams, you will apply advanced verification methodologies, automation, and industry-leading practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
## Responsibilities:
- Develop and complete verification plans, testcases, regressions, and coverage strategies for complex memory builds.
- Build and improve verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM, and industry-standard verification methodologies.
- Debug build and verification issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolution of functional and timing defects.
- Develop scripting and automation solutions to improve verification efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Collaborate with global teams that build and cross-functional teams to define verification strategies and ensure successful product development.
## Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fundamentals, digital build, and CMOS circuits.
- Experience with SystemVerilog, UVM, and verification methodologies for digital and/or mixed-signal builds.
- Familiarity with simulation and verification tools like Xcelium, Verilog, SpectreFX, or comparable industry-standard software.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
## Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing automation tools and scripts using Python, Perl, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with verification metrics, verification approaches aimed at completeness, assertions (SVA), and verification signoff processes.
- Experience with Cadence and/or Synopsys build and verification tools.
- Knowledge of DRAM, memory products, or semiconductor verification flows.
- Experience bringing to bear AI-assisted engineering tools to improve efficiency, accelerate problem-solving, and improve verification efficiency.
