As a Coordinator III, your work plays an important role in keeping our Neurological Institute’s surgical operations organized and running smoothly. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, clinical caregivers, and fellow coordinators in a team-oriented environment where everyone works together to support patients and ensure an efficient experience from scheduling through follow-up care.
In this role, you’ll coordinate surgical cases performed by Neurological Institute surgeons at Main Campus, entering cases into EPIC and scheduling pre- and post-operative appointments. You’ll also communicate directly with patients by sending important correspondence and coordinating the details they need throughout their surgical journey. With a strong focus on organization, communication, and teamwork, your contributions help keep the department moving efficiently while supporting high-quality patient care.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00am – 5:00pm (M-F) – no weekends or holiday requirements. Remote work after 90-day probation period/training. Must reside in the Cleveland area and be able to report to Main Campus for training.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Coordinate all support and clerical activities for the department by providing support to internal clients while functioning as a liaison with external clients.
Coordinate various department activities by facilitating analysis and reporting information.
Develop, maintain and distribute reports for schedules, budgets, staff, PTO and patient information.
Prepare, provide analysis for and implement special studies and projects.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
5 years of office experience
5 years of experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects
Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Physical Requirements:
- Requires frequent standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of time.
- Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity to grasp and handle records and to operate PC computer in the course of work and navigate throughout the hospital.
- Normal or corrected vision.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
