Job Type: Seasonal (Evenings, Weekends & Holidays Required)

Position Summary

Talking Stick Golf Club is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Food Expeditor to join our 

culinary team. As the link between the kitchen and front-of-house, the Expeditor plays a crucial 

role in ensuring that every plate leaving the kitchen meets quality, timing, and presentation 

standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and keeps the 

kitchen and service running smoothly. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a fastpaced environment and takes pride in delivering a polished and seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

•  Serve as the communication bridge between kitchen staff and servers
•  Ensure all food orders are complete, accurate, and meet presentation standards before leaving the kitchen
•  Organize plates by table and course to maintain correct order flow
•  Communicate clearly with line cooks and servers to keep service moving efficiently
•  Monitor ticket times and help prioritize orders during busy service periods
•  Assist in garnishing plates and adding finishing touches as directed by the chef
•  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo window and pass-through areas
•  Alert kitchen or service teams to any delays, changes, or special requests
•  Assist with running food to tables as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

•  Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
•  Strong multitasking and communication skills
•  Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure
•  Excellent attention to detail and organization
•  Must be able to stand for long periods and move quickly in a high-volume setting
•  Current Arizona Food Handler’s Card required (or ability to obtain)
•  Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
•  Team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
