Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is seeking a CAMO Maintenance Planner to support new business requirements on the E-7 Wedgetail Aircraft.
The CAMO Maintenance Planner role sits within our customer’s Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (MilCAMO) and is responsible for developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules in compliance with the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) and fleet operational plan. As a BDUK employee embedded within MilCAMO, the CAMO Maintenance Planner will work as part of an RAF-led team, representing BDUK directly within our customer organisation and positively influencing our reputation.
This opportunity is based onsite at RAF Lossiemouth. The successful candidate will join a diverse team contributing directly to the completion of maintenance requirements for the E7 fleet. The role involves close collaboration with maintenance organisations and key involvement in creating Statements of Work, managing pre-input requirements, daily reporting, and output reviews.

BDUK is a Boeing subsidiary with over 1,400 employees in the UK, delivering contracts including the E-7 AEW&C and P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, Autonomous Systems, C4ISR Services, Chinook & Apache support, Logistic Information Services, and Training Services, currently expanding rapidly.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of ISTAR Air Wing Engineering (IAWE (L)) Core Mil CAMO.
- Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes.
- Work collaboratively with the Mil CAMO Maintenance Manager.
- Reconcile maintenance plans to meet E-7 operational needs.
- Create and issue base maintenance and depth work packages, ensuring parts and materials are scheduled.
- Coordinate recovery plans for operational disruptions and develop alternative maintenance plans.
- Manage the E7 maintenance forecast in compliance with AMP and integrate with flight schedules.
- Lead key planning meetings, produce minutes, and ensure stakeholder sign-off.
Additional responsibilities include supporting quality improvements, promoting safety culture, driving Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, mentoring, STEM outreach, and other focus projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Fluent written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eligible for UK SC security clearance
- Strong communicator with a proactive mindset
- Proven ability in maintenance planning and stakeholder management
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles and Publications
- Experience on military platforms
- Relevant aviation and CAMO training courses
- Experience with GoldESP, Resolve, GOLDesp, and maintenance planning software
