Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a fast-thinking, organized Logistics Coordinator to join our dispatch operations team in Elmira or Kitchener. This is a central role for a detail-oriented personnel who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping the supply chain moving smoothly. You will be responsible for building schedules, coordinating driver assignments, managing communications, and ensuring every load goes according to plan—and quickly solving problems when they don't.

Schedule

• Full-time: Operating out of our Elmira or Kitchener office.
• Shift Structure: Specific shift hours may vary depending on the shift; role requires flexibility and the ability to hand off cleanly between shifts..

What You’ll Do

• Daily Dispatch & Scheduling: Enter and verify customer schedules, assign drivers and equipment, and manage the Daily Load Board.
• Communication & Support: Serve as the main point of contact for drivers, catchers, and processing plants. Send ETA updates to customers and handle a busy dispatch email inbox.
• Problem Solving: Manage real-time disruptions such as weather delays, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes by adapting the lineup and coordinating with mobile repair or towing services.
• Quality Control: Review and approve driver paperwork and load information for accurate payroll processing.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule preventative and running repairs, and provide detailed end-of-shift handoff notes to keep all departments aligned.
