Essentia Health is seeking a Clinic Care Technician to serve in the infusion center at our South University Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. This CCT works Monday through Friday with one weekday off. Shifts start between 7:30 am and 8:30 am, and end between 4 pm and 5 pm, varying based on patient scheduling for the day. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. This position is a great fit if you have patient care experience, such as working as a non-certified or certified nursing assistant or a patient care technician.Education Qualifications:

What You'll Do:
The Clinic Care Technician is primarily responsible for providing assistance with daily patient flow in the clinic setting. These duties may include greeting and rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in patient chart, stocking, and cleaning exam room, ordering and maintaining clinic supplies, assisting with clerical duties, and all other duties as assigned. This position may float to support other areas as assigned. Key responsibilities include:
Supports and assists providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
Supports patient scheduling and work queue needs as assigned
Follows up on no-shows and works with providers to review and approve add-ons
Greets patients, supports virtual visits, completes identification verification, height, weight and obtains vitals
Chaperones exams as needed
Administers questionnaires and documents in electronic medical record
May perform limited patient care tasks based on training
Processes incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes as needed, prints and updates forms, answers internal phone calls, and may place office supply orders

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
Experience in healthcare or patient care is preferred.
Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
