Southeastern Louisiana University's Office of Technology invites applications for the position of Web Programmer/Developer. The Web Programmer/Developer designs, develops, and maintains dynamic web applications and integrated systems. Primary responsibilities include building secure web interfaces, supporting existing web infrastructure, integrating third-party APIs, and assisting with enterprise systems (CMS, LMS, ERP). The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in full-stack web development with strong collaboration skills to support internal stakeholders and end-users.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university by hire date
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of relevant IT experience
Experience with PGP/GPG, SSH, and TLS encryption standards
Experience designing and coding secure web applicants following industry best practices for maintaining the security and integrity of the application
Experience with integrating third party APIs
Experience with Accessibility Compliance, including but not limited to WCAG and Section 508 Knowledge of Laravel and Code Igniter frameworks
Knowledge of web and database development technologies
Knowledge of PHP and MYSQL
Knowledge of a version control system such as GIT
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Familiarity with network protocols (HTTP, TLS/SSL, LDAP, DNS) and Linux/Unix environments
