POSITION SUMMARY

 

MicroVision a leader in advanced perception solutions for industrial, security and defense, and automotive applications, is seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of MicroVision's Operations team, you will collaborate with various technical teams across the company to bring market-defining LiDAR products into production.  The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of LiDAR hardware and related products. This role supervises production personnel, drives continuous improvement initiatives and ensures operational, quality, and production goals are achieved.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets. 
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate production employees. 
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of manufacturing orders. 
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and safety requirements. 
• Coordinate with Mfg. Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve operational issues. 
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Track and report production KPIs and support corrective actions. 
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up activities. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. 

• Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements. 

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 

• Experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems and Microsoft Office. 

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. 

 

This position is based onsite at MicroVision's Orlando, Florida facility and requires regular in-person attendance five days per week. Work schedules are determined by management based on business and operational needs. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Orlando facility.
