Business Operations Intern 1 (AI/Computer Science/Software Engineering/Data Analytics)

## The impact you’ll make

This position provides general administrative, AI and analytical support to the Global / Regional Business Operations team.

## What you’ll do

• Support the development of AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI, Python and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Assist in developing prototypes, automations, dashboards and AI agents to improve operational efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for business applications.
• Ensure reliability, consistency and quality of all data management and reporting deliverables.
• Any other general administrative duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.

## Who we’re looking for

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics and Information Systems
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Power BI or similar AI tools
• Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or related languages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis and visualization
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for AI and automation
• 6-months internship

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
