Description
Overview
A family with 2 young daughters ages 15-months-old and 4-years-old is looking for a highly professional, discreet, and emotionally steady career nanny to care for their children in the West Village. The eldest child attends a school a few blocks from the home for half the day during the week. The nanny to hire should be warm and engaging with the children; self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable working in a staffed household. They value calm competence and clear communication over a very chatty or exuberant style. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-6pm and staying late 2 nights per week. Guaranteed pay for 50 hours weekly.
The candidate to hire must welcome active, comfortable with involved parents and be comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel, including traveling extensively with their family during July and August, as well as occasional schedule flexibility.
