Job Description:
The Associate, Business Tools is responsible for supporting the development of several sales enablement products at Dimensional, including the global CRM system and key integrations like email automation, business process flows, and sales data tools. The Associate partners with business stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and drive enhancements across the sales technology ecosystem.
This position sits within the Global Client Group (GCG) Operations’ Business Tools team, whose mission is to enable the CRM ecosystem to drive the business processes and insights needed to create a holistic view of Dimensional’s global client relationships. The GCG Operations division supports the day-to-day operational needs of the Sales group in the areas of business insights, technology product management, intermediary relationships, client onboarding, reporting, and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business analyst for CRM and related sales technology platforms, developing a strong understanding of business processes, user workflows and underlying data
- Gather business requirements from various stakeholders, translate them into user stories and design requirements, and effectively communicate between the business and Technology to deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs
- Manage small-to-medium projects and workstreams from discovery through implementation, coordinating stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, testing, communications, and rollout activities
- Develop strong partnerships with sales channels to provide product support and identify opportunities to improve user experience, processes, and platform capabilities; build a strong understanding of the sales business needs and strategy to inform recommendations
- Maintain and enhance critical client data across sales systems, proactively identifying data quality issues and supporting solutions that ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant data governance and privacy standards
- Execute and oversee complex data activities, including bulk data updates and querying/analyzing data using tools such as Excel and Snowflake, to support business analysis, data maintenance, and decision-making
- Create and maintain runbooks, process documentation, and communications to support product activities and ongoing enhancements
- Contribute to product roadmaps and prioritization, balancing business value, user needs, risk and technical considerations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-4 years’ experience in business analysis, operations, or technology support, including internships
- Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and translating business needs into technology solutions
- Experience independently coordinating projects or workstreams across multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel skills and experience querying, manipulating and validating data
- Ability to work with large datasets with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while also understanding the broader business context
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise judgement and drive work forward with limited direction
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, facilitate discussions and effectively partner with business and technology stakeholders
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn, with an ability to develop a deep understanding of business processes and the “why” behind them
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software and testing tools (e.g.. JIRA) a plus
- Experience in sales/sales operations or the financial services industry a plus
- Understanding of Agile principles a plus
