Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Access Control in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a government location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, badge procedures, visitor screening, and security-related communications. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service at a front desk within a government financial-services location, following site-specific policies, access-control procedures, and security-related protocols.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, maintain visitor records, issue credentials as authorized, and direct guests to appropriate offices.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor management systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related equipment from a stationary post; report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs and written reports regarding visitors, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
