About the Role
This is a 12 months Full time contract position!
This is an ideal opportunity for a Technical Savvy Project Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or Cyber Security Delivery Manager looking to lead meaningful cyber security transformation initiatives.
Roles and Responsibities
Lead end-to-end delivery of data security initiatives across planning, execution, governance, and operational transition.
Drive implementation of DSPM capabilities to identify, classify, and reduce risks associated with sensitive and critical information.
Lead DLP initiatives across Microsoft 365, endpoints, cloud platforms, email, collaboration tools, and business applications.
Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, budgets, and business outcomes.
Build strong relationships with business leaders, operational teams, technology teams, privacy officers, risk teams, and external vendors.
Translate technical cyber security concepts into business language suitable for non-technical stakeholders.
Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making across complex organisational environments.
Coordinate proof-of-concepts, proof-of-value activities, and product evaluations.
Identify opportunities to reduce information security and privacy risks.
Drive remediation of data exposure risks, excessive access permissions, oversharing, and inappropriate data handling practices.
Prepare executive-level reporting on initiative status, risks, key decisions, and outcomes.
Provide updates to governance committees, project boards, and senior leadership teams.
Maintain project documentation, budgets, risk registers, and implementation plans.
Essential skills and experience that will help you succeed
Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology or cyber security initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience managing projects, programs, or large transformational initiatives.
Strong risk, issue, dependency, and budget management skills.
Working knowledge of data protection concepts and controls, including data classification, data loss prevention, data security posture management, access governance and encryption, sufficient to direct engineers and challenge vendor recommendations.
Experience implementing DSPM, DLP, Information Protection, Data Governance, IAM, or Security Operations initiatives.
Experience working with third-party vendors and technology partners.
Desirable skills and experience
Experience implementing DSPM, DLP, Information Protection, Data Governance, IAM, or Security Operations initiatives.
Experience in healthcare, aged care, highly regulated industries, or large enterprise environments.
Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Security, Cyera, Varonis, Concentric AI, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Netskope, Zscaler or similar DLP platforms.
