As a Security Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries and public areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution.
• Monitor entrances, galleries, public areas, and restricted spaces; verify authorized access and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior exhibit spaces, collection-adjacent areas, offices, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately; communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
