We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh FINPRO Team in Malaysia. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
This role serves as the first point of contact for day-to-day communication with assigned client accounts, including complex accounts in the FINPRO portfolio. This role is responsible for helping clients understand and place coverage for financial institutions, directors & officers, professional indemnity, crime and related risks. The position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting client satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
We will count on you to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day communication with numerous and/or complex client accounts.
- Follow up on correspondences and manage ongoing client communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and communicate a clear understanding of client businesses by conducting and analyzing client research, industry research, benchmarking studies, and risk maps for both internal and external use.
- Support colleagues in managing the day-to-day aspects of designated accounts and perform related account management tasks.
- Liaise between internal senior professionals and business accounts to help ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
- Represent the business in a professional manner to support client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency, allowing senior colleagues to focus on growth initiatives.
- Manage account concerns or issues and resolve both routine and complex problems in a timely manner.
- Apply sound judgment in determining when to escalate issues to senior colleagues.
- Collect insights and feedback on relationship satisfaction and report findings to senior colleagues with appropriate context and recommendations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with counterparts at client organizations.
- Complete billing and other transactional work as required.
- Generate and coordinate calendars, timelines, and other operational materials to support account delivery.
- Maintain fluency in the Company’s service offerings and market trends to enhance work quality and support sales capability development.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- at least 8 years of experience in client service, account management, operations, or a related field.
- Finance, corporate finance and law firm background is preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance, consulting, brokerage, or professional services environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional judgment, problem-solving capability, and a client-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and related business tools.
- Experience supporting complex client accounts.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior colleagues.
- Commercial awareness and interest in client retention and business development.
