Description
Love working with kids and staying active? Join the YMCA of Greater Toledo as a Part-Time Assistant Site Director/School Age Child Care Lead Teacher and make a meaningful impact while having fun! This position is a split shift, Monday-Friday 6:30am-9am & 3pm-6pm

Typical DAy
- Plan & implement the lesson plan and fun hands-on learning activities.
- Build relationships with students in your program, and their families. Send out daily parent communication and reminders.
- Play games, help kids build friendships, and be a positive role model for students.
- Serve snacks and lunches and do some light cleaning to make sure the space is clean and inviting. Keep group on task and inline with daily schedule.
- Leads must be available Monday-Friday
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- An understanding and knowledge of children, their behavior and developmentally appropriate practices. Prior School Age classroom/child care experience is preferred.
- Enroll in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, and Prevention of Infectious Diseases. (Covered by the YMCA)
- Warm and friendly personality and the willingness to interact with the children.
- Meet DCY licensing qualifications in training and background check.
