Job Details
ChristianaCare is seeking an Accreditation & Patient Safety Project Manager to plan, manage and execute initiatives that strengthen accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance, patient safety and quality across our health system.
This highly collaborative role partners with clinical, operational and senior leaders to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, sustainable improvements in patient care. If you have experience in healthcare accreditation, patient safety, quality or performance improvement—and enjoy bringing teams together to solve complex problems—we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Lead systemwide accreditation and continuous readiness initiatives, including tracers, rounds and self-assessments.
Interpret accreditation and regulatory standards and help clinical and operational teams translate requirements into action.
Identify compliance gaps and partner with leaders to develop and implement sustainable improvement plans.
Support preparation for accreditation, state and CMS surveys, including corrective action plans and follow-through.
Manage patient safety, quality and performance improvement projects from planning through implementation and evaluation.
Monitor outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategies when goals are not met.
Facilitate multidisciplinary teams and educational activities that strengthen organizational readiness.
Present findings, progress and recommendations to clinical, operational and senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, public health or a related field.
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum two years’ work experience in accreditation and/or patient safety preferred.
Strong project management, organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively influence and collaborate across clinical and operational teams.
NAHQ certification within one year of hire.
